#ImEasilyAnnoyedBy people that stand too close behind me in a line.

I had already talked about a pet peeve of mine while grocery stopping and that is those who have hold grocery store reunions. Here is another pet peeve when it’s time to leave. I wish I had a personal bubble that I could surround myself with while I’m in line at a store waiting to check out. Do any of you feel the same way?
I mean, you’re waiting in line, giving the person in front of you their personal space and here comes someone behind you, just mere inches from breathing down your neck. Seriously dude…? You can’t just take two steps back and leave some breathing room. It would be much appreciated.
Sometimes I just want to use a quote from the movie Dirty Dancing…
Look, this is my space. This is your space. I don’t go into yours, you don’t go into mine.

And how great would it be if the person behind you got the movie reference. You could all have a good laugh

LOL, totally!
I’m like that, but with my car. I cannot stand having someone close to me behind or on the sides. It scares the bejeebus out of me.

That irks my nerves too. It’s as if they think you are going to speed up any faster because they are that close to you. Really?
I feel your pain! Just last week at the checkout, someone’s cart kept inching in closer and closer to my backside! That is such an uncomfortable feeling!
I love your drawing!

Thanks.
Ugh, I feel you on that one too. Next time just sit on the edge of the cart or lean on it. I bet that would move them back some. Ha!
Love your drawings! And personal space is important… why don’t people understand that?!?!
Thank you
I don’t know why people don’t understand that either.
YES. Sometimes I inch backwards just to get them to move.

If only… great drawing and concept. You should trade mark it!

I love your pictures! And YES, I hate the space invaders. Not just in the check out line either, also when I’m shopping and somebody gets all in my space looking for some item. Eek!
You’ve totally read my mine! That is one of my biggest pet peeves. I have been known to do some very rude things to those who invade my personal space. LOL… And thanks for giving a name to the other: grocery store reunion! They know they see you coming, they know they’re standing in the middle of the aisle… seriously! And why are you talking so loudly? Ugh.

Where is my “Like” button for this reply!
Ha! I find the line at the post office is the worst. It’s like they somehow believe they’ll get waited on faster if they attach themselves to your person.

This just happened to me the other night…creepy old dude got all up in my space, and then had the nerve to suggest I go use the self check out lane. Because waiting behind me added 2 whole minutes to his buying cigarettes time.

Ok, that doesn’t make sense. Why didn’t he just move over to the self check out lane if he couldn’t wait a few minutes? The nerve of some people.
